The Crew’s latest dispatch comes from France, where Guilhem Nicolas of Jadikan LP flexes his skills in ten bold new photographs. Complete with brainwashing televisions, fantastic dreams and a meal fit for a rabbit, the Crew’s trip to “cheese country” looks interesting to say the least.
Don’t know the Crew? Meet Crazy Horsehead Man, Jacked Rabbit, Piggy Boy, Bucky and Mittens here.
As soon as the Crew arrives, the adventures begin. Bucky, a shadow of his former self, is hypnotized by the light.
Wrapped in electric violet, Piggy Boy appears to be onto something more potent—and it doesn’t look like any ordinary bottle of liquor.
Guilhem says he’s sometimes afraid to leave the Crew at home and alone—and you can see why. Here, he captures Piggy Boy and Mittens in a spectacular mix of colors and light.
And at an old Paris railway station, Guilhem creates a fiery starburst of light, revealing the hot blue tracks and Bucky’s shadow amid the graffiti.
The Crew doesn’t stay in one place too long, and this awesome shot seems to indicate they’ve said goodbye to Paris. Be on the lookout for the Crew—rumor has it they’re already creating mayhem in the UK.
One of Guilhem's photographs of the Crew was inspired by the I'm a Photographer Not a Terrorist campaign and was featured on the front page of their Web site. Good taste, we say! The shot is painted with billowing smoke and Mittens lurks in the shadows with something to say. See the shot here.
